ANOTHER CLASSiC POLiCE JACKET

as a motorcycle jacket collector my favorite has always been Taylor's offerings for various depts. my LAPD jacket was my favorite. it still is but has competition from my just bought Cleveland. i kept trying to buy it used but it's hard to find in any version but 'long', so i bit the bullet for a new one in regular XL, and it is sweet. construction and finish are as superb as all of Taylor's jackets, but in person it's just amazing. i put it on picking it up and went over to the market to get a few things, and in checkout the bagging guy gave me a compliment. that's the fastest anything i've ever purchased has received a compliment. he has good taste in jackets.

Cleveland style

I had a couple of these cowhide jackets over the years and they were always good in freezing windy snowy Cleveland winters. One was a old USA made Taylor's and the other was the newer Pakistan made Taylor's. I have to say the Pakistani made leather I had was thicker than the old USA made. So the quality and durability is definitely there. I remember I was skeptical about it being foreign made but after a thorough side by side examination I was left impressed and satisfied.
